Anyone who has fought bare knuckle can tell you that “holding a piece of glass” bit is bullshit. You may be a great boxing coach, I have no idea, but you’re asking for a fucked up hand/wrist if you punch someone with anything less than your absolute tightest fist with no glove on.

would u say u can somthing like this with hyongs? in my dojang we do something like the first hyong one time, the second hyong 2 times, the third hyongs three times. my sabeomnim gives echt form a specific exercise... for example, if u came to the 3third hyong, the first should be as fast as possible, the second as strong as possible and the thrid fast an strong as possible. when the 4th hyong starts there is something like, only punches hard, then the kick harder or as high as possible and so on... do think this chould also improve the cardio?

1: fighting in hi gaurd blocks your periphrial vision, can't slip punches like that. 100% power... You should always train for 100% power at 100% speed. This is because the more you do this, the greater chance you have at building more fast twitch muscles, which will increase power and speed

Leg kicks with pads are bad enough. Without pads, you're losing that ability to generate maximal power unless you're conditioned over months and years. That seeing red nonsense is for those that throw haymakers and lose composure, then get their lights put out, then run to the police

Love shadow boxing, but for a guy with the mindset of always prepare to defend myself, I just wouldn't keep that hair style, no ear rings, no necklace either. Hair grabbing is a massive part that throw your daily training off the rail. Yes, you can have the idea and knowledge to how to deal with it, but long hair instantly put you in a big disadvantage no doubt.

I would never advise anyone to throw kicks in a street fight unless they have practiced a lot of kicks while shadow boxing. The reasoning is that in most training your kicks are against a bag or will be blocked by someone and that is totally different than missing and being off balance or falling on your butt. Even when you miss while sparring is not the same as a street fight because in sparring you are holding back power. Practice kicks like you want to hit but are prepared to miss.

Footwork - Don't get surrounded. Avoid getting caught in between multiple ppl and if you know how to fight you should be okay. Try to make every punch count - One well-placed hit is enough to knock someone straight out and then you suddenly have one less body to worry about.

It may seem obvious but the best way to visualise in shadow boxing is 1)sparring 2)sparring 3)sparring 4)watching fights,a lot of them. And pls record your shadow boxing, you form is fuked i can gurantee that. And do pad drills to be more fluid on building combos
